Where and how to make a designer online

If you studied and know how to work in graphic editors (photoshop, illustrator, etc.), then you have every chance to gain a foothold in the web design market and earn good money.
After analyzing all possible ways of earning, you can focus on the following three, it is:

go to a web-design studio, or organize your own;
work for yourself.
All these methods of earning cardinally differ from each other, and require different levels of knowledge in the field of work. The only thing that remains unchanged is the desire for self-learning and the achievement of goals. So, we proceed to a detailed consideration of each of the methods of earnings.
1. Creating design sites, banners, drawing icons for sale. This way to get money is the easiest, and does not require serious knowledge of the subtleties of the profession of a web-designer. But not the most profitable. For this, only good knowledge in Photoshop and Flash will be useful. However, the demand for this type of service is rather low, and all niches are already occupied by people who have been doing this for years. So do not expect crowds of potential employers to flock to you.
Alternatively, you can combine the design and html layout of layouts for sites. But for this skill “drawing” is not enough. You will need to master at least partially html, css, javascript and, possibly, some other programming languages that will be required to create a full-fledged site layout. Many web designers do this. This type of earnings is paid much more, and the chance that you will find a job is higher. But, of course, you can not do without a portfolio, because large orders often get trusted people. So, you may have some time to work “idle.”
2. Get a job in a web-studio, or organize your own. Everything is not as simple as it seems at first glance. As a rule, such studios have strict requirements: higher education, work experience, perfect knowledge of graphic editors, and these are just basic ones. Even if you find a job, not a fact, it will take you. If you still got the job, then try to complete all the tasks on time and with maximum efficiency, because many have already claimed your place.
The second option is to open your own web-design studio. To do this, you need freelancers who will look for clients and create layouts. Naturally, they all need to pay. In addition, you need to make your own website, which should look presentable, because it is the face of your studio. The method is even more complicated than the first one, since the activity of the boss is not very simple. It would seem that the complex – found freelancers, on similar sites found orders, agreed on all the nuances and gave the work to his employees. In theory, it is, of course, everything is smooth, but in fact there is a lot of small things and details – inexperienced freelancers, poor customers, non-compliance with the terms of work, etc. If you do not have any knowledge, it’s better not to get involved in studio creation.
3. If you have not found anything worthwhile for all the time you have spent looking for work in the studio, or for well-paid orders, then your job will be your lifeline. In order to start making good money on the Internet you need to create a website. Everything that you can do with your own hands: icons, badges, layouts, banners, advertisements, fonts, all this should be placed in free access on your site, because people are constantly looking for similar materials for their sites, but they don’t want to pay for them.
And you, in turn, can earn on the people themselves, or rather on their attendance. To do this, you can install clickkandery, affiliate, advertising from Google or Yandex, if you’re lucky, then someone’s advertising or banner. In addition, the sale of links has not been canceled, but to do this kind of earnings, you need to pump your website. TIC 10 is quite sufficient for your site to be accepted to the exchange of links. And these are the most difficult TICs, they will continue to grow faster if you actively promote your site, and therefore, along with TIC, your earnings will also grow.

P.S. What can I add on the topic based on personal experience. The methods mentioned are, in principle, correct, but they seemed a bit chaotic to me. Therefore, before doing something from the very beginning, you need to sit down and think – 1) what skills do you have.
